Void Cleaning Technician

 

Fenton Industrial Estate - Stoke-on-Trent - covering Staffordshire, Cheshire and Burton on Trent

 

£19,750 - £20,790 per year

 

40 hours per week – Monday – Friday – 7.30am - 4.00pm

 

We are looking for a Void Cleaning Technician to join our void team based in Stoke-on-Trent. In this role you will be responsible for cleaning void properties to high standard duties before letting to a new tenant, duties include vacuuming, environmental cleans, sanitizing surfaces, removing waste, cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms and toilets, reporting property defects and cleaning communal areas. You will be working in teams of two or three, but some lone working may be required due to workloads.

 

The role of Void Cleaning Technician will include:

  • Working knowledge and experience of undertaking general cleaning duties including hoovering, sanitising and dusting surfaces, emptying bins and the cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms and toilets
  • Ability to maintain stock levels and ensure tools and equipment are kept in a useable condition
  • Identify and report any hazards/faults to uphold a safe environment ensuring Health and Safety is compliant
  • Proactive and positive attitude with the ability to prioritise workloads, working to tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills, providing a professional, courteous approach

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Working knowledge and experience of undertaking general cleaning duties
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
  • Some practical experience in operating cleaning machinery
  • Some experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
  • British Institute Certificate is advantageous, however training will be provided
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence.
