Project Worker - Bank

Boston Avenue, Southend on Sea

£9.44 per hour (rising to £9.94 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)

We have a great opportunity for a Project Worker to join our enthusiastic team and provide support to young parents in need. If you want to make a positive impact to people’s lives, this is a rewarding opportunity to come and work within an established and experienced team.

The role of Project Worker will include:

  • Ensuring relevant support is provided to enable our clients to maximise their own potential and level of independence
  • Regular key working and support planning, developing a high quality, person centred service
  • Assessing clients’ needs and writing or updating support plans
  • Developing professional working relationships with statutory and non-statutory agencies, acting as an advocate when required
  • Actively encouraging choice and involvement with day to day life skills such as social interaction within the community

Skills and experiences:

  • A sound knowledge of housing management including voids and arrears management is essential
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and source innovative solutions for complex circumstances
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills allowing you to build strong working relationships
  • An understanding of occupancy agreements is desirable
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel or similar
