Multi Trade Operative – Joiner

Shiregreen, Sheffield – covering West Yorkshire and Lancashire

 

£27,711 per annum (rising to £29,169 after 12 months service subject to satisfactory performance)

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 4.30pm

We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi-Trade Operative to join Sanctuary Maintenance where no two days are the same. The role has a variety of responsibilities including, working in tenanted and void properties delivering our planned works program and also full refurbishments - internal and external. You will be a good all rounder within demonstrable experience within the building industry with an eye for detail.

 

What we look for in you:

  • Previous multi-trade experience gained within a construction/building/maintenance background - certified to City and Guilds or NVQ 3
  • Skills in some of the following disciplines kitchen and bathroom refurbishments, 1st and 2nd fix carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting, installations of UPVC doors and windows, flooring including wet rooms – cap and cove
  • You will be a team player with the ability to prioritise workloads, work to deadlines within budget, with a willingness to learn other trades
  • Working within appropriate Health and Safety legislation
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
