Administration Officer

Shiregreen, Sheffield


£19,594 per annum (rising to £20,625 after 12 months service subject to satisfactory performance)

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 5.00pm

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administration Officer to join our Regional Gas team based in Sheffield. This is a varied and challenging role that would suit an organised and proactive individual. You will be part of a team providing administrative support to 6 Regional Gas Teams.


The role of Administration Officer will include:

  • Producing and analysing reports from operating workforce systems to provide effective management information
  • Liaising closely with other areas of the business, stakeholders and external customers in relation to the progress and completion of works
  • Compiling and collating documentation; to include risk assessments, post inspections and stock takes
  • Organising and coordinating training for the teams from both internal and external providers
  • Raising purchase orders for goods and services


Skills and experiences:

  • Recent experience within a similar administrative/coordinator position is essential
  • A proven ability of prioritising workloads to meet deadlines
  • Some experience of producing and analysing data is desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel (or similar)
