Area Sales Manager

 

Plymouth based with a balance of home and office working

 

£41,016 - £43,175 per year plus Sales Incentive Scheme

 

Plus Company car or car allowance

 

35 hours per week

 

We have an excellent opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join our thriving Sales team is part of the Sales and Marketing Directorate within Development. The team is responsible for all new build sales within Sanctuary of both Shared Ownership and Open Market tenure. With a strong background in customer service and excellent negotiation and presentation skills, you will be an experienced people manager who can lead a team to deliver successful results.

 

Through our exciting development programme we aspire to build 30,000 new homes. This is an excellent opportunity to join our ambitious Development department who will be delivering this project. Therefore, if you are a hardworking and ambitious individual who strives for success, this could be the role for you.

 

The role of Area Sales Manager will include:

  • Being responsible for all sales activity across various sites in the South West region, including management of sales staff/external agents
  • Ensure any pipeline sites are ready to launch in line the sales programme from a legal & sales perspective
  • Manage your own and team KPIs to deliver the business plan sales programme is delivered
  • Ensuring all internal/financial processes are followed accordingly
  • Reporting and analysing critical data and present information to the wider team
  • Managing and motivating a regional team to ensure targets and goals are exceeded

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification
  • Experience within new home sales
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads, both for self and others
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Knowledge of Help to Buy regulations, consumer codes and outright sales current practice
  • Previous managerial and customer service experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office systems, including Excel and Word
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
