Care and Support Assistant - Part Time


Tilmore Gardens, Petersfield


£8.83 to £9.29 per hour (dependent on qualifications)


28 hours per week and 36 hours per week available – to include early and late shifts with alternating weekends



We are seeking a Care and Support Assistant to make a real difference to the lives of our residents. Recently rated as ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC, Tilmore Gardens provides registered supported housing for ten adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs. The role of Care and Support Assistant will include:

  • Delivering high standards of personal care to residents
  • Completing care plans and handover notes
  • Liasing with GPs and attending appointments 
  • Maintaining cleanliness in the home
  • Cooking with residents
  • Administering medications to residents
  • Checking blood sugars and administering insulin
  • Supporting resident integration into the local community
  • Assisting residents with social activities. Tilmore Gardens is home to the ‘Tilmore Arms’, our new pub-themed social shared space for residents to socialise in with friends and family.

Skills and experiences:

  • Previous experience providing care to clients with learning disabilities
  • You will be bubbly, motivated, calm and possess a good sense of humour
  • Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong “can-do” attitude
  • Ability to react quickly to changing priorities whilst working to deadlines and targets
