Local Service Manager – Temporary position for up to 12 months

 

Based at Aviary House, Norwich – to cover Norwich and Great Yarmouth

 

£35,997 per annum

 

37.5 hours per week

 

 

We are seeking a Local Service Manager to manage the delivery of services and housing within the Norwich and Great Yarmouth areas. At Sanctuary Supported Living, we are passionate about supporting people to live as independently as possible and to lead fulfilling lives. We provide support to people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.

 

With previous experience working in substance misuse, addiction and mental health settings, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff to success, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the services, and representing them within the local community.  

 

The role of Local Service Manager will include:

  • Overseeing the overall delivery of the service, through the management of the staff team and liaison with the Area Service Manager
  • Delivering contract KPI’s
  • Managing void properties, rent accounts and any arrears effectively
  • Health and safety compliance
  • Setting budgets
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and relevant external agencies with the proven ability to liaise effectively with statutory and voluntary partners

Skills and experiences:

  • Experience of working in substance misuse, addiction and  mental health settings is desirable
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulations, legislation and good practice principles
  • Proven ability in budget preparation and cost control
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively line manage a team of staff
  • Good organisation and administrative skills
  • Travel is a requirement of the role; therefore a full, current driving licence and access to your own vehicle is desirable
