Regional Business Assistant

 

Victoria House, Manchester

 

£18,259 per annum (rising to £19,220 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)

 

37.5 hours per week

 

 

We are seeking a Regional Business Assistant who will use their excellent customer support and administrative skills while working with colleagues to achieve the best outcome for our residents. Victoria House is a 42 bed residence comprising of single and shared units.

 

Through day-to-day personalised support, we help people who have experienced, or who are at threat of, homelessness by 

helping them to succeed in education or employment, improve mental well-being or overcome reliance on addictive substances. If you want to make a positive impact to people’s lives, this is a rewarding opportunity to come and work within an established and experienced team.

The role of Regional Business Assistant will include:

  • Ensuring that accurate and timely information is collected, collated and presented to continuously meet and exceed regulatory requirements
  • Supporting the management of complaints in line with policy to achieve customer service excellence
  • Providing a professional and efficient first point of contact for internal and external customers
  • Building relationships with internal and external customers, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring they are dealt with appropriately
  • Contributing as required to special programmes and projects

Skills and experiences:

  • Proven experience of providing effective administration support within a customer service environment
  • Focused on delivering exceptional customer service including having an approachable, caring and compassionate attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure using your own initiative
  • Proven experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel (or similar) is required
  • Good organisational skills enabling you to prioritise your workload
