£36,335 - £38,248

In order to support the continued level of growth, we have a great opportunity for a Bid Writer to join our Growth and Business Development Team, who work across the whole of the Sanctuary Supported Living (SSL) portfolio and client groups. The Bid Writer role sits within Sanctuary Supported Living (SSL) which helps people to live independently by providing high quality, registered and non registered specialist support and housing services. This position will cover the North of England.

 

The successful candidate will compose quality responses to tenders, all of which have strict time scales to adhere to. Working within a supportive team you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with all areas of the business and work on a variety of different projects on a daily basis.

 

The role of Bid Writer will include:

  • Coordinating the tender progress for an identified region
  • Writing clear high quality responses to tenders
  • Continuing to secure existing services
  • Liaising with commissioners to discuss the implementation of services
  • Working with operational teams across the business to plan content and source case studies
  • Coordinating and planning meetings to review the success of tenders
  • Assisting the Service Development Manager on other commercial opportunities outside of the tender process

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Experience of writing, reviewing and submitting technical and detailed tenders, bids and proposals, ideally within the Care and Housing sectors
  • Ability to interpret information from various sources and translate this into the desired format for the bid document
  • Project management skills with an understanding of project delivery and knowledge of budget setting and controls
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organised with proven ability to work under own initiative
  • Experience of working within the care and support sector would be desirable
