Bank Activities Coordinator


Hastings Residential Care Home, 130 Barnards Green Road, Malvern, Worcestershire


£8.71 per hour


Hours to be worked as and when required


Maternity leave cover until October 2020

Where you’ll work

Hastings is an attractive care home located in a quiet residential area of Barnards Green in the popular spa town of Malvern. At Hastings some rooms overlook the magnificent Malvern Hills providing a picture perfect location for our residents. Our dedicated team provide a range of care and support including residential, dementia and respite care for up to 63 residents. Activities are without doubt a very important part of life in our home. Regular weekly activities on the menu include Thai Chi, ‘News Chat’, where the daily newspapers are reviewed and the residents discuss everything from Brexit to the weather. There is even a poetry group where members pen their own creations based on the day’s theme.

The role will include

We are seeking an Activities Coordinator to make a real difference to our residents’ lives.

Are you someone who is creative and loves to get others involved in fun and inspiring activities? Couple with this your passion for providing first rate care; this could be the role for you?

This is an exciting opportunity to really get to know our residents and provide them with a variety of stimulating activities that not only promote physical but also mental and social wellbeing. The opportunities are endless in terms of what activities you could implement and we would be interested to hear your ideas and suggestions.
