Project Worker - Temporary position for up to 8 months

 

Acre Lane, London

 

£10.12 per hour

 

37.5 hours per week

 

We are seeking a Temporary Project Worker to make a real difference to the lives of our residents.

 

This position will require flexibility to work across 3 services in Lambeth in a variety of shared accommodation providing support to tenants experiencing Mental Health Issues.

 

The role of Temporary Project Worker will include:

  • Regular key working and support planning to ensure relevant support is provided to encourage our residents to maximise their own potential and level of independence
  • Assessing resident needs by writing and updating support plans
  • Working with statutory and non-statutory agencies on behalf of the residents, actively encouraging choice and involvement, or acting as an advocate when required

Skills and experiences:

  • A sound knowledge of housing management, including voids and arrears management
  • Good understanding of occupancy agreements
  • The ability to work on your own initiative, sourcing  innovative solutions to enhance the independence of clients
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel or similar
