Project Worker

 

Park Lodge, London

 

£10.99 per hour (rising to £11.33 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)

 

37.5 hours per week – Working various shifts and to include weekends

 

 

We are seeking an experienced Project Worker to make a real difference to the lives of our clients.  Set on the edge of Well Street Common, Park Lodge has 25 one-bedroom flats. We provide personal care and support for adults aged 18 to 65, with a range of mental health needs.

The role of Project Worker will include:

  • Regular key working and support planning to ensure relevant support is provided for our clients
  • Enabling and encouraging our clients  to maximise their own potential and level of independence
  • Assessing clients’ needs by writing and updating support plans, and completing risk assesments  
  • Working with statutory and non-statutory agencies on behalf of the clients, actively encouraging choice and involvement, acting as an advocate when required
  • Sourcing innovative solutions to problems that allow clients’ independence to be enhanced

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Experience of working with people who have mental health needs
  • A sound knowledge of housing management including voids and arrears management is desirable
  • An understanding of occupancy agreements is desirable
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • The ability to work on your own initiative
  • Experience working within a CQC registered service is desirable
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel or similar
