Night Registered Nurse

£17.40

 

40 and 30 hours per week available

We are seeking an experienced and engaging Night Registered Nurse to join our team at Sidegate Lane, located in a quiet area of Ipswich. Our residential nursing home is a fun, fast-paced environment – no two days are the same!

 

We provide a comprehensive induction programme as well as on-going training to develop new and existing skills and encourage progression. Sanctuary has their own Learning and Development Academy, who provide a wide range of training courses, open to all.

The role of Night Registered Nurse will include:

  • Preparing, monitoring and supervising the delivery of resident care plans
  • Ensuring residents’ best interests and rights are promoted and protected
  • Building and maintaining close working relationships with residents, families and relevant agencies to ensure the best care is delivered
  • Having an involvement with quality, risk, health and progress assessments

 

Skills and experiences:

  • A relevant qualification (e.g. Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Learning Disability Nurse) is essential, with a valid NMC pin
  • Comprehensive experience of working with a similar client group, such as with mental health or dementia, is essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills allowing you to build strong and professional working relationships
  • Some knowledge of relevant legislation and its application is desirable
  • Recent experience of supervising clinical staff would be beneficial
