Apprentice – Business and Administration

 

  • 1 Year Fixed Term Contract

  • Starting Salary Year 1: £9,734 per annum

 

  • 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday

This job is based within the Customer Service Centre (CSC) in Hull.  The CSC focuses on customer service excellence and delivers a range of services for all of our customers.  As Business and Administration Apprentice you will you join the Inspections, Compliance and Administration team within the Customer Service Centre. The team book inspections for surveyors and other Sanctuary staff to visit our properties, upload compliance certificates onto our SAP system and produce appointment letters for orders.  The role will also provide quality administrative support to the team by supporting the delivery of a high quality, cost effective housing service.

 

The role of Apprentice will include:

  • Downloading and extracting data from Microsoft forms, updating monitoring spread sheets and producing reports on the data captured
  • Uploading compliance certificates onto our SAP computer system
  • Providing contractors with compliance reports
  • Producing appointment letters for customers repairs
  • Maintaining information on our property notepads within our SAP computer system

 

Skills and experiences:

  • A minimum of 2 GCSEs at grade C or above (grades 4 – 9) or equivalent in Maths and English
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (including Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Ability to manage and prioritise your own workload on a daily basis – ensuring that your work is planned effectively so that deadlines are met
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Great communication and customer service skills both verbal and written
  • Adaptable and able to work well as part of a team
  • Enthusiastic to develop as an individual and progress your career
