LOCAL SERVICES MANAGER

 

DEFOE COURT, EPSOM, SURREY

 

£35,616 PER ANNUM (RISING TO £37,491 AFTER 12 MONTHS, SUBJECT TO SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE) PAY RATE EFFECTIVE AS OF APRIL 1st 2017

 

37.5 HOURS PER WEEK

We are a national organisation but we think locally. We support people through supported housing, move-on accommodation, CQC registered services and floating support. We specialise in services for young people, homeless families and individuals, people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and people with mental health needs.

 

Through day-to-day personalised support, we help young people who are parents, have recently left care or are overcoming a reliance on addictive substances by improving their emotional health and wellbeing.

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with significant experience of working with vulnerable young people to manage our supported housing service in Epsom. Drawing on your knowledge and experience in supporting this client group and understanding of children’s services you will be pivotal in further developing good practice within the service.

 

The role of Local Service Manager will include:

  • Overseeing the overall delivery of the service, through the management of the staff team and liaison with the Area Service Manager
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, and relevant external agencies with the proven ability to liaise effectively with statutory and voluntary partners

     

    Skills and experiences

  • With previous experience of working in a managerial role within a similar service, you will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, leadership and problem solving skills
  • You will have experience of working in a person centered way supporting service users to maximise opportunities for personal development
  • Travel is a requirement of the role; therefore a full, current driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential
