LOCAL SERVICES MANAGER

 

DEFOE COURT, EPSOM, SURREY

 

£35,616 PER ANNUM (RISING TO £37,491 AFTER 12 MONTHS, SUBJECT TO SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE) PAY RATE EFFECTIVE AS OF APRIL 1st 2017

 

37.5 HOURS PER WEEK

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with significant experience of working with vulnerable young people to manage our supported housing service in Epsom.

 

Drawing on your knowledge and expertise in supporting this client group and understanding of children’s services you will further develop good practice.  You will oversee the overall delivery of the service, through the management of the staff team and liaison with the Area Service Manager as well as other identified key staff.

 

With previous experience of working in a managerial role, you will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, leadership and problem solving skills, along with an ability to liaise effectively with statutory and voluntary partners. You will have excellent communication skills and experience of working in a person centred way supporting service users to maximise opportunities for personal development.

 

Travel is a requirement of the role; therefore a full, current driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
