Mobile Caretaker

 

Lancaster Way, Ely

 

£18,543 per annum (rising to £19,519 after 12 months service subject to satisfactory performance)

 

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm

We have an excellent opportunity for a Mobile Caretaker to join our well established Estate Services team based in Ely but covering mainly the geographic area of East Cambridgeshire and entering into parts of Suffolk, South Cambs and fenland on the border of this area.  You will be working across multiple sites per day, with a focus to provide true customer service. Full support and training will be provided, the role is rewarding and individual effort is recognised. If you are a motivated team player with a keen eye for detail, this could be the role for you.

 

The role of Mobile Caretaker will include:

  • Undertaking general caretaking duties including; cleaning communal areas, removing bulk waste from void properties including garden waste
  • Working with other maintenance teams to identify faults, resolve issues and improve services
  • Completing all documents and paperwork concerning tasks completed
  • Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in a suitable condition

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Previous experience within a cleaning or caretaking role is essential
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety is desirable
  • Ability to work on own initiative and with fast changing requirements
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
