Assistive Technology Assessor and Installer

 

Cambridgeshire – working across the county

 

£23,537 per annum (rising to £24,775 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)

 

37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

 

 

We are looking for an Assistive Technology (AT) Assessor and Installer to assess service users’ needs for assistive technology, and provide effective installation and maintenance of equipment within service users’ homes.

 

We offer a range of assistive technologies to support people with a variety of needs, and are always developing our portfolio of technologies to ensure that we can provide our customers with the most effective support solutions available.

The role of AT Assessor and Installer will include:

  • Assessing customer requirements and installing telecare solutions for new and existing customers
  • Reviewing and maintaining customer equipment
  • Calling existing customers to review their package
  • Updating systems with customer details
  • Scheduling own workload
  • Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition
  • Company van provided and occasional overnight stays may be required

Skills and experiences:

  • Good customer service skills and a caring nature
  • Good communication and listening skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage own workload and prioritise tasks
  • Self motivated
  • A working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
