Receptionist

 

West Park Conference Centre, Perth Road, Dundee DD2 1NN

 

£17,930 per annum

 

40 hours per week

We are currently looking for a well presented individual with a great attitude towards customer service to join our team as a Receptionist.

 

The role of Receptionist will include –

  • Welcoming and directing clients, guests, contractors and staff members
  • Receiving and directing calls
  • Receiving payments for bookings, sending invoices and emailing client lists
  • Dealing with all customer queries
  • Preparing signage, menus and booking sheets for customers and staff
  • Supporting the maintenance of effective filing systems, database records and processes including coordinating bedroom allocations
  • Working closely with the sales team, providing input into projects and sales
  • During the summer months you will be part of an efficient accommodation reception team handling accommodation bookings online and over the telephone. Processing payments and checking guests in and out on a daily basis.

 

Skills and experiences -

  • Previous experience within a similar role is desirable
  • The ability to work independently and on your own initiative, with a high level of attention to detail is essential
  • Experience using computerised booking systems and phone systems would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office systems such as Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Good communication and customer care skills
