Cleaning Technician – Part Time

 

Centurion House, Chester

 

£14,046 per annum (rising to £14,786 per annum after 12 months service subject to satisfactory performance)

 

30 Hours per week

 

We are currently looking to recruit a Cleaning Technician to carry out cleaning duties in our Office located in Chester. Your main duties include the cleaning of all communal areas, including stairs, lift, toilets, kitchen and office space. This role will be lone working; however you will form part of a wider team of Cleaning Technicians. You will be based at Centurion House, however you may be required to cover other sites in Chester and Liverpool as and when required.

 

The role of Cleaning Technician will include:

  • General cleaning duties to include mopping, vacuuming, wet and dry dusting   
  • Identifying and reporting potential hazards or faults on site, to maintain a safe environment
  • Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of allocated work
  • Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in a good, workable condition and stock levels are maintained
  • Providing a professional, courteous and customer friendly approach to all working tasks

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Working knowledge and experience of undertaking general cleaning duties
  • Some practical experience in operating cleaning machinery
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation is desirable
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Some experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work load

The full time equivalent salary for this role is £18,729 based on 40 hours per week rising to £19,714 after 12 months service and subject to satisfactory performance
