General Assistant

 

New Court, Cheltenham

 

£8.21 to £8.64 per hour (dependent on qualifications)

 

28 hours per week - Saturday to Tuesday

We are looking for a General Assistant to join our dynamic team to ensure the highest possible standards of customer care and service are delivered. You will have daily interaction with owners, visitors and colleagues; therefore we are looking for a friendly individual who is approachable and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

 

The role of General Assistant will include:

  • Providing a waiter service in our in house restaurant, taking orders, serving food and drinks
  • Assisting the chef with food prep and cleaning
  • Manning the bar and operating an EPOS till system
  • Providing an efficient service in a luxury environment for the owners, family and friends
  • Assisting in creating a homely atmosphere to the owners
  • Accurate cash handling  and reconciliation duties at the end of shifts
  • Ensuring that the highest level of customer care and service are maintained at all times

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Previous experience within the hospitality sector or in a similar front-line role
  • Caring, compassionate, polite and approachable individual
  • Proven experience of dealing with customers on a regular basis
  • Flexible approach to working patterns and working weekends
