Bank Female Team Leader

 

Rosary Priory, Bushey

 

£10.91 per hour (dependent on qualifications)

Do you need flexibility in the days you work? Our bank roles (sometimes referred to as “relief roles” in other companies) mean that you will be able to choose from available shifts and have the benefits of a consistent workplace combined with opportunity to build positive relationships with the individuals we support. However you aren’t guaranteed shifts every week as hours are worked as and when required.

 

We are currently seeking a Bank Team Leader to make a real difference to the lives of our 9 elderly Sisters based at the Rosary Priory convent. At Rosary Priory, we provide personal care and support for retired nuns from the Dominician Sisters of Saint Catherine of Siena Newcastle Natal, ensuring they have comfort, independence and peace of mind during their retirement.

 

You will use your skills to work with colleagues to provide a personalised service and achieve the best outcome for our Sisters. If you want to make a positive impact to people’s lives, this is a rewarding opportunity to come and work within an established and experienced team.

The role of Bank Female Team Leader will include:

  • Supervising and supporting a team of Care and Support Workers
  • Assessing the needs of our Sisters, writing and updating support plans
  • Managing and monitoring plans to ensure a high standard of care and support is offered
  • Identifying and reporting hazards and faults, completing risk assessments and ensuring equipment is kept in working order
  • Managing the development of staff to ensure skilled staff are available to meet business needs

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Proven experience in a care and support environment is essential
  • Some experience in staff management is essential
  • Good interpersonal and customer care skills
  • Experience with working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
